Welcome On-Board HotGun ( and for that matter all newbies )


Posting of pics can be done in many ways :

1. You can upload the pics to any of free hosting servers / albums like imagestation , photobucket , etc.


2. Once you upload the pics , you will be assigned a URL ( for non-comp geeks : what you type on address bar to open a site , starting with http://www......) ,


3. Click on " Reply " button of a particular thread you want to post your pictures in


4. You will get a screen , with a box for topic and one for comment


5. In the comment box , type the URL of the image ( from step 2 ) in the comment box in either of the ways :
(a) Hotlinking : This will directly put the picture within the thread.
Example :

" http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v311/bigbadshahbhaag/ben/devika_d28.jpg "

Just insert [IMG] in front of this URL and a [/IRL] at the end of this url to make it a hotlink

(b) Clickable Link : In this just type the URL as shown above without the [IMG] and closing [ IMG] tags . This will show the link as a link , which anyone can click
